Surah Al-Baqara 2:113 — Meaning, Translation & Reflection

وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ لَيْسَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

English: The Jews say, ‘The Christians have no ground whatsoever to stand on,’ and the Christians say, ‘The Jews have no ground whatsoever to stand on,’ though they both read the Scripture, and those who have no knowledge say the same; God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning their differences.

Bengali: ইহুদীরা বলে, খ্রীস্টানরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয় এবং খ্রীস্টানরা বলে, ইহুদীরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয়। অথচ ওরা সবাই কিতাব পাঠ করে! এমনিভাবে যারা মূর্খ, তারাও ওদের মতই উক্তি করে। অতএব, আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছিল।
