Surah At-Tawbah 9:96
سُورَةُ التَّوۡبَةِ · Medinan · Verse 96 of 129
يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
Translation
they will swear to you in order to make you accept them, but even if you do accept them, God will not accept people who rebel against Him.
