فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌۭ وَلَا جَآنٌّۭ
English: On that Day neither mankind nor jinn will be asked about their sins.
Bengali: সেদিন মানুষ না তার অপরাধ সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে, না জিন।
Meaning & Reflection
'So on that Day none will be asked about his sin — neither man nor jinn.' Ibn Ashur and al-Saadi note the meaning: there will be no need for interrogation, because the guilt is already manifest — the marks on the guilty betray them before a single question is asked. Ask yourself: in this life I survive on the ability to explain myself — to give my side, spin the story, manage the impression. This verse describes a moment where none of that machinery runs, because the truth is simply *visible*, written on me. If my inner reality were suddenly plain to all, with no chance to narrate around it, what would it show? The verse quietly urges me to make my hidden self match my presented self *now*, while explanation still buys me time.
