فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
English: Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
Bengali: অতএব, তোমরা উভয়ে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কোন কোন অবদানকে অস্বীকার করবে?
Meaning & Reflection
'So which of the favours of your Lord will you two deny?' Here the refrain rests on the astonishing truth that He is *always attending* — that His engagement with creation never lapses. al-Saadi notes His constant care is itself the favour. Ask yourself: the fact that I am never, for a single instant, outside His attention — that my needs are registered continuously by One who never tires or turns away — is a mercy so total I forget it is even happening. Which of these will I deny? I would be devastated by a friend's neglect, yet I take for granted an attentiveness from my Lord that never once blinks. The refrain asks me to feel that constant care as the gift it is.
