سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ · Medinan · Verse 280 of 286
وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍۢ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ مَيْسَرَةٍۢ ۚ وَأَن تَصَدَّقُوا۟ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
English: If the debtor is in difficulty, then delay things until matters become easier for him; still, if you were to write it off as an act of charity, that would be better for you, if only you knew.
Bengali: যদি খাতক অভাবগ্রস্থ হয়, তবে তাকে সচ্ছলতা আসা পর্যন্ত সময় দেয়া উচিত। আর যদি ক্ষমা করে দাও, তবে তা খুবই উত্তম যদি তোমরা উপলব্ধি কর।
