Surah Al-Baqarah 2:263

سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ · Medinan · Verse 263 of 286

۞ قَوْلٌۭ مَّعْرُوفٌۭ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌۭ مِّن صَدَقَةٍۢ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًۭى ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَلِيمٌۭ

Translation

A kind word and forgiveness is better than a charitable deed followed by hurtful [words]: God is self-sufficient, forbearing.
