يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

English: You who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may be mindful of God.

Bengali: হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের উপর রোজা ফরয করা হয়েছে, যেরূপ ফরজ করা হয়েছিল তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকদের উপর, যেন তোমরা পরহেযগারী অর্জন করতে পার।
