Surah Al-Baqara 2:230 — Meaning, Translation & Reflection

فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدُ حَتَّىٰ تَنكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُۥ ۗ فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ أَن يَتَرَاجَعَآ إِن ظَنَّآ أَن يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ

English: If a husband re-divorces his wife after the second divorce, she will not be lawful for him until she has taken another husband; if that one divorces her, there will be no blame if she and the first husband return to one another, provided they feel that they can keep within the bounds set by God. These are God’s bounds, which He makes clear for those who know.

Bengali: তারপর যদি সে স্ত্রীকে (তৃতীয়বার) তালাক দেয়া হয়, তবে সে স্ত্রী যে পর্যন্ত তাকে ছাড়া অপর কোন স্বামীর সাথে বিয়ে করে না নেবে, তার জন্য হালাল নয়। অতঃপর যদি দ্বিতীয় স্বামী তালাক দিয়ে দেয়, তাহলে তাদের উভয়ের জন্যই পরস্পরকে পুনরায় বিয়ে করাতে কোন পাপ নেই। যদি আল্লাহর হুকুম বজায় রাখার ইচ্ছা থাকে। আর এই হলো আল্লাহ কতৃꦣ2453; নির্ধারিত সীমা; যারা উপলব্ধি করে তাদের জন্য এসব বর্ণনা করা হয়।
