سُورَةُ البَقَرَةِ · Medinan · Verse 125 of 286
وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًۭا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ مُصَلًّۭى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ
English: We made the House a resort and a sanctuary for people, saying, ‘Take the spot where Abraham stood as your place of prayer.’ We commanded Abraham and Ishmael: ‘Purify My House for those who walk round it, those who stay there, and those who bow and prostrate themselves in worship.’
Bengali: যখন আমি কা’বা গৃহকে মানুষের জন্যে সম্মিলন স্থল ও শান্তির আলয় করলাম, আর তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের দাঁড়ানোর জায়গাকে নামাযের জায়গা বানাও এবং আমি ইব্রাহীম ও ইসমাঈলকে আদেশ করলাম, তোমরা আমার গৃহকে তওয়াফকারী, অবস্থানকারী ও রুকু-সেজদাকারীদের জন্য পবিত্র রাখ।
