Surah Ar-Rahman 55:67
سُورَةُ الرَّحۡمَٰن · Medinan · Verse 67 of 78
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Translation
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?

Meaning and reflection
'So which of the favours of your Lord will you two deny?' Resting on the gushing springs, al-Saadi notes the refrain again ties overflowing provision to gratitude. Ask yourself: abundance is easy to normalise, when water gushes freely, I stop seeing it as a gift and start treating it as a right, even wasting it. Which of these overflowing favours will I deny by taking them for granted? The refrain's relentless repetition is itself the cure: it will not let a single gushing gift pass without demanding that I stop and answer. Gratitude, the Surah keeps teaching, is not a mood that visits me but a discipline of noticing, repeated until it becomes who I am.
